“The Key“ is the new single from Red Largo, released 10 August 2026 via Madame Vega’s Boudoir exclusively on the digital music platforms Bandcamp and Subvert.

“The Key“ can be considered a lost but found key to a forgotten room in Hotel Neuf: When recording their second album, the band had too much material for one LP, and the foundation of “The Key“ was recorded during the Hotel Neuf sessions.

Releasing it only on Bandcamp and Subvert and not on the ”main” streaming platforms can be considered a tip of the hat to Bandcamp and Subvert for providing a fair and sustainable way for independent artists making non-mainstream music to digitally distribute their work.
